Supporting Others On A Diet

This week we want to emphasize the importance of having some one to help support you while you are improving your overall health. This may seem to be common sense, but what you may not realize is that people are out to make you fail. Yes, that’s right. People (many times subconsciously) don’t want you to have success in your losing weight. Why? Because if you do, then you end up making them look bad.

Think about this for a second. Have you ever been working on your health and a close friend say, why not skip your work out tonight because you worked hard at your job or its late and it would be crazy to do your exercises. When people around you are saying things like this, it takes a lot of focus and commitment to stay on track. Thus the importance of having someone who supports you along the way.

Fat Dad Thin Dad Update

If you have been tracking how Fat Dad, Thin Dad has been doing in his transformation, you will see that even he has things that can get in the way. That’s just part of life. The important thing is to not lose track of what you are wanting to accomplish. In my situation, I have had to work some extra hours, been out of town to attend a seminar, and it goes on and on. Again, that is what happens in real life. This is not where you take overweight people and have them work out for 6 to 8 hours a day for a television show. It is real people with real things in life. Its all about finding what can work for you and taking action.

We put together a short video on what is happening and what we would like to do as it relates to making this into a community that supports others in gaining their health goals in life. Keep in mind that we want everyone to focus on common sense and this includes checking with your health care professional as each of us is different. Check out this video…

We wanted to give you an update on the special “Fat Dad Thin Dad” series. Tomorrow we will be issuing a video which will explain more details about the program where you can actually watch Dave of Fad Diet TV apply Common Sense to his daily living pattern.

No Diet Health Management Program

In the Fat Dad Thin Dad series, we will be revealing the No Diet approach to managing your health. What? Yeah, you heard us correctly - No Diet approach. Everyone knows that diets don’t work and we will be showing you the basis for this unique program.

Why No Diet?

Well it is quite simple. Who ever stays on one in the first place? Usually people do it to lose a lot of weight fast so they can get off of the diet to overeat and gain it all back and more. Isn’t that how diets work? If so, they why are people getting on them in the first place.

Laugh At The Diet Industry

Through out the whole program we will be poking a lot of fun at the diet industry since it truly manipulates with your basic emotions to sell you a bill of goods that aren’t going to work long term. They know that you will be back to see them again within a year or less and drop some even more money into their bank account.

Isn’t It Time For Something New?

Thus the No Diet Health Management Program. Watch this website. Make sure you set a reminder. Or better yet, join our launch list and don’t miss any new shows we produce.

What are your thoughts on not dieting? Do you think that there are benefits?

Cookie Diets - Do They Work Long Term?

There are many different programs out there that focus on eating what are deemed to be nutritious cookies as a meal replacement process to lose weight. Typically these cookies taste like cardboard and aren’t very filling. Come on. Who likes to eat cardboard?

Why Cookie Diets Fail?

A fad diet which follows after cookies does something that most people don’t realize. What does this type of diet train people to do? Eat cookies, right. So when they do get down to their weight, what do you think these people will continue to do without thinking about it? You guessed it…Eat More Cookies until they magically get all their weight and more back on their bodies. Nice!

What Happens When You Take Away Their Cookies?

Good question. Check out this video to see what happens to this dieter.

You can see that if you really want to do it right, it comes down to common sense. Hey and that’s free. Then again maybe its not because it’s not so common. Maybe that’s why people are willing to pay so much for it.

What are your thoughts on cookie diets? Let us know.
